In the anime, this is one of the two tactics used by Knights of Queen. It is a defensive tactic, and was defeated twice.
When it is used, 10 members form two V formations in which they trap the opponent, and steal the ball from him with their movements. The opponent will then run in a zigzag fashion to try to evade the users, making it much easier for the users to reclaim control of the ball.
