Alnilam (アルニラム, Aruniramu) is a midfielder for Shadow of Orion.
Appearance[]
Alnilam has an average build with fair skin. His hair is celestial blue, most of which falls onto the front of his head, with a medium-length, lighting-shaped bang in the centre, and a long, messy bang on either side. His eyes are greenish yellow, with with large, black pupils, and small, celestial blue eyebrows.
Plot[]
Following Irina's declaration to the world[1], Alnilam appears alongside his team, Shadow of Orion, to play a match against Zhao Jinyuns. During the match, Alnilam marks Kazemaru, allowing Betelgeuse to chain a pass to Yurika.
In the second half[2], Alnilam attempts to obstruct Zhao Jinyuns' path, but is gotten around by a series of passes from Lus, to Nosaka, to Froy. Later, thanks to Kidou's strategy, Alnilam has the ball stolen from him by Haizaki. When Kidou later gives the order for Zhao Jinyuns to attack, Alnilam is broken through by Aphrodi's high pass, getting the ball to Asuto.
During Yurika's vision, an image of him appears in the snowy field alongside his teammates, all emerging from the shadows thanks to the sparks kindled in their hearts.

Trivia[]
- His name, Alnilam, is a reference to the eponymous central star located in Orion's Belt, a reference to Shadow of Orion's naming motif.
