Alnitak

Alnitak (アルニタク, Arunitaku) is a midfielder for Shadow of Orion.

Appearance[]

Alnitak has a slender, somewhat tall build with fair skin. His cloudy blue hair is spiked up, with some bangs falling over his forehead, and a longer bang on the right side of his face. His eyes are lapis lazuli colored, with black pupils featuring a ring around, and cloudy blue eyebrows.

Plot[]

Following Irina's declaration to the world^[1], Alnitak appears alongside his team, Shadow of Orion, to play a match against Zhao Jinyuns. During the match, Alnitak marks Malik, allowing Betelgeuse to chain a pass to Yurika.

In the second half^[2], Alnitak attempts to steal the ball from Asuto with a sliding tackle, but the ball is passed to Haizaki before he's successful. Later, his and Bellatrix's double defense catches Froy off-guard, stealing the ball which they then proceed to dribble up the field together with. As they approach the goal, Kidou makes a defensive order, and Froy knocks the ball away from Alnitak with a slide. As Asuto dribbles up the field, Alnitak closes in on him, but the ball is passed to Fudou before he can intercept. Following a series of substitutions, Alnitak has the ball stolen from him by Haizaki.

During Yurika's vision, an image of him appears in the snowy field alongside his teammates, all emerging from the shadows thanks to the sparks kindled in their hearts. Following the crisis, he joins Yurika in requesting a rematch with Asuto some time in the future.
