Backdraft was first used during the match between Inakuni Raimon and Tonegawa Tousen. Kozoumaru shot Fire Tornado towards Endou's goal, then Asuto used his Inabikari Dash to quickly send the ball away from the goal, for Goujin Tetsunosuke to use his head to shoot it towards the goal again, to draw out Endou's Majin The Hand. Facing this new shot, Endou switched to Fuujin Raijin, a new hissatsu, though it was not complete. Because of that, he let in the shot, making it 1-1. Later, Goujin used it again, but this time it was stopped by Endou's complete Fuujin Raijin.
Usage[]
The user jumps in the air, and starts spinning backwards. When nearing the ball, the user turns sideways and ends up with their back towards the ball. The user then heads the ball in the spin, and after sending it towards the goal, goes back up.
Its name, Backdraft, is a reference to the eponymous explosive phenomenon where fire instantly absorbs all oxygen, a reference to its usage.
Its dub name, Hot Head, is a refernce to the eponymous idiom, referring to its prominent user's personality. Additionally, it can also refer to the hissatsu technique's usage as the user's head becomes hot when heading the ball.
