In order to recruit Chikka, The Lagoon has to be defeated first in the story mode. Also, the following requirements are needed:
Her name, Chikka, is derived from 樋口 (read as "Higuchi"), which, in turn, is a reference to Higuchi Atsushi, who worked as a programmer for the Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone game, a reference to Garu's naming motif.
She is one of the players to retain her Japanese name in the European localization.
