Recruitment[]
Inazuma Eleven 3
In order to recruit Kraken, Big Waves has to be defeated first in Hirai Shinzou's upper taisen route. After selecting him on the scouting machine, he will be in the Football Association's parking lot and will challenge the player to a soccer battle once talked to.
His name, Clark Cain, is derived from クラーケン (read as "Kuraaken"), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of kraken, the legendary sea monster, a reference to Big Waves' naming motif and to his nickname, Kraken.
When turned around, his dub name, Ken Crackham, is derived from Kraken as well, which is also a reference to Big Waves' naming motif and to his dub nickname, Kraken.
