Death Zone is a hissatsu technique created by Teikoku Gakuen[1], involving each user rotating into the air and launching their energy onto the ball, with their synchronized movements being crucial for it to be successfully performed. Teikoku Gakuen took more than a month to sucessfully master Death Zone, with Kidou being in charge of its timing.
In the practice match between Teikoku Gakuen and Raimon[2], Kidou ordered Sakuma, Jimon, and Doumen to use it to make Gouenji reveal himself, pushing Endou towards the goal and successfully scoring Teikoku Gakuen's eleventh goal. Kidou ordered Sakuma, Jimon, and Doumen to use it again to try to score, but it was stopped by Endou's God Hand.
Amidst Teikoku Gakuen's training[3], Sakuma, Jimon, and Doumen used it, with Genda noting the three perform it with more efficiency.
In the match between Teikoku Gakuen and Raimon[4], Kidou ordered Sakuma, Jimon, and Doumen to use it following Teikoku Gakuen's quick attacks, but it was stopped by Domon's bodily defense.
In the practice match between Teikoku Gakuen and Raimon[1], Kidou, Endou, and Domon used it several times in order to master it, failing to do so but managed to quickly get past Tachimukai, successfully scoring Teikoku Gakuen's first goal. Eventually, Kidou realized they needed to match their own timing rather than use Teikoku Gakuen's as a basis, successfully mastering it and scoring Teikoku Gakuen's second goal. Kidou, Endou, and Domon used it again, focusing more on their asynchrony and creating Death Zone 2, successfully scoring Teikoku Gakuen's third goal.
Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin[]
In the match between Seishou Gakuen and Raimon[5], Haizaki, Sasotsuka, and Orio used it, breaking through the combined bodily defense of Raimon's defenders and quickly getting past Norika, successfully scoring Seishou Gakuen's first goal.
In the match between Seishou Gakuen and Kidokawa Seishuu[6], Haizaki, Sasotsuka, and Orio used it, pushing Oogosho into the goal and successfully scoring Seishou Gakuen's fourth and winning goal.
Game[]
In the practice match between Teikoku Gakuen and Raimon[7], Sakuma, Doumen, and Henmi used it, breaking through Endou's defense and successfully scoring Teikoku Gakuen's twentieth goal.
Acquirement[]
- Can be found in a treasure chest inside the Steel Tower Hut.
Usage[]
Inazuma Eleven[]
One user in the center runs forward while the other two appear behind them, quickly jumping into the air. The user running forward then follows suit, with all three spinning while jumping. The three users then form a triangle in the air with the ball in the center, having thin, purple rays between them. As the ball absorbs the energy of the triangle, the three users close in on and stomp on it, covering the ball with dark purple energy and making it head towards the goal.
Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin[]
One user in the center dribbles with the ball, while the other two dash in front of them. The user dribbling comes to a halt, kicking the ball high into the air. The three users quickly jump into the air while spinning. They then form a triangle in the air with the ball in the center, having thin, purple rays between them. As the ball absorbs the energy of the triangle, two users get ready to volley it while one gets ready to overhead it. Once they kick the ball, it gets covered with dark purple energy, making it head towards the goal.

Trivia[]
- In the Inazuma Eleven game, during the practice match against Raimon[7], Sakuma, Doumen, and Henmi use it in a story cutscene despite none of the them having the technique in their movesets at that point.
- Furthermore, its animation suggests Sakuma is its main user. This, however, isn't possible as Sakuma doesn't naturally learn Death Zone in Inazuma Eleven.
- In the Inazuma Eleven anime, it's the first
hissatsu technique used. - The triangular formation of Death Zone is a reference to the Bermuda Triangle, a region said to have multiple mysterious disappearances.
Death Zone as The Death Zone in Inazuma Eleven's English localization.
- In the beta version of Inazuma Eleven SD, the Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin version of Death Zone was listed in the "Possible Override" section. In the actual release, only the non-Override original version appears.
- The Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin version was later added in the update, but as a regular technique.
- In Inazuma Eleven's English localization, when Death Zone was used in the tournament match against Raimon[4], it was shown as The Death Zone.
