Appearance[]
Just like his great grandfather, Endou Mamoru, he wears a headband but it is red in color. His hair color is dark teal and his eye's color are also dark teal. His hair is similar to Toramaru. He has an earpiece in his left ear which is white and blue. He wears a black t-shirt underneath and a red, white, and blue jacket which is only done up by a button on the top. He also wears teal 3/4 length trousers.
Personality[]
Canon is shown to be really nice and friendly as seen in the game as well as in the anime. He is also shown to be persevering. Canon's personality can be compared to that of Endou's, due to their love, and passion for soccer. He also cares a lot for him, that he went back in time to help his great-grandfather. In short, he's a replica of his great grandfather.
He also says "Let's play soccer" just like how his great-grandfather says, proving that he has the same passion as Endou has. Though, it is shown that he doesn't like Team Ogre's rough plays.
He travels back in time to help Raimon fight Ogre in the movie, also recruiting some of Endou's future friends (Fidio, Hiroto, Fubuki, Tobitaka and Toramaru) to help Raimon, because of this, he was able to use his hissatsu; God Cannon, to score the second goal for Raimon breaking through Zagomel's Electrap. He later used it again to make a chain shoot with Fidio's Odin Sword and try to score a goal but was blocked by Zagomel's High Voltage. Raimon eventually succeeds and wins the match, with Canon thanking his great-grandfather before returning to his timeline in the future.
However, in Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!! The Ogre, Canon travels back to the timeline of FFI because Ogre attacks the teams participating in the FFI, unlike in the movie, where Ogre attacked during the FF finals. During the game, he is abducted by Team Ogre in order to make Endou accept a match against them.

In order to recruit Canon, Oumihara's Coach's upper taisen route has to be cleared first. Unlocking the first treasure chest grants the player the option to scout him. After typing his name in Hibiki's machine, he will be in Hokkaidou and will join the player's party once talked to.

In order to recruit Canon, a Memory Link with Inazuma Eleven 1･2･3!! Endou Mamoru Densetsu has to be performed first. (In the EU version of the game, a link must be performed with Inazuma Eleven GO instead.) Also, the following requirements are needed:
His forename, Kanon, is the Japanese pronunciation of canon, a reference to him travelling through time to preserve the true events of the timeline.
Incidentally, it can also be derived from キャノン (read as "Kyanon"), which, in turn, means cannon, a reference to his hissatsu technique, God Cannon.
In a January 2012 issue of Nintendo Dream magazine, Nagano Takuzou, the character designer for the Inazuma Eleven series, stated Canon's hair color being green was to reflect the idea that he was the great-grandson of Aki, mentioning that he had always been a fan of Aki and Mamoru being a couple.
However, with the release of Inazuma Eleven GO, Natsumi ended up with Mamoru instead, either nullifying this relation to Aki or suggesting an alternate timeline.
