The Last Playoff! (最後(さいご)決戦(けっせん)!, Saigo no Kessen!) is the 25th episode of the Inazuma Eleven series.

Summary[]

This is it, the finals of the Nationals has arrived. Zeus storm to an early lead of three goals and nothing Raimon does has any effect on them. Are they really gods? Or is something else going on? Either way, if Raimon don't turn the game around they're going to get annihilated!

Plot[]

The episode starts with Raimon at the entrance of the Football Frontier Stadium, only to discover that it's closed. The location of the last game was changed to a massive structure found above the regular stadium. They suspect it must be Kageyama who pressured the committee to change the location. Hibiki tells Endou that Kageyama may have been responsible for his grandfather's death. Natsumi asks him why he had to tell Endou the news at the moment. Hibiki remembers how Kageyama's treachery years ago was the reason why the Inazuma Eleven couldn't win the tournament and why they eventually leaved soccer. Endou is shocked and angered by the news, but his teammates and his love for soccer help him get out of this state. Hibiki is proud of him because he continued to play soccer instead of contaminating it with his hate for Kageyama. After Raimon change into their uniform, Endou gives everyone a speech, while Aki and Natsumi talk about how he still has a positive attitude, despite not having completed Majin The Hand yet. At that moment, Zeus make their apparition, and the members of Raimon glare at them. Before the match starts, Zeus have a drink. Kageyama thinks Raimon may be the ideal opponent to help him complete Project Z.

The match begins with Aphrodi getting past all the members on the field using Heaven's Time. Because of this technique, the opponents can't see him and he creates whirlwinds that blow them away. Endou doesn't show fear. Aphrodi uses God Knows and Endou tries to stop it with God Hand, but the shoot is too strong. His teammates look shocked and the commentator is surprised how Aphrodi managed to score without even letting Raimon touch the ball. Endou's hand is a bit injured, but he's still fine. The match resumes with Raimon's kickoff and Someoka and Gouenji are surprised when they see that Zeus don't try to defend. They try scoring with Dragon Tornado, but Poseidon's Tsunami Wall stops it. Poseidon gives Raimon the ball and provokes them to make another shoot. They use Koutei Penguin 2gou, but the goalkeeper stops it with the same technique, then stops The Phoenix with Gigant Wall. Demeter gets past Kazemaru, Kabeyama and Shourin using Dash Storm and scores the second goal for Zeus with Reflect Buster. Shourin got injured by the former technique and Handa takes his place. Demeter uses Dash Storm again on Domon, Max and Kurimatsu, injuring the latter two, and Hera scores the third goal using Divine Arrow. Kurimatsu and Max get replaced by Kageno and Shishido respectively. Someoka gets injured by Mega Quake and Megane replaces him, but is injured by the same technique in a matter of seconds. The remaining members are falling one by one. After knocking Endou back, Aphrodi asks him if he wishes to see his teammates suffer and Endou starts doubting if they can still win the match.
