Trivia[]
- His name, Furan Ken, and, subsequently, his nickname, Franken, are both derived from フランケンシュタイン (read as "Furankenshutain"), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of Frankenstein, a reference to Occult's naming motif and an allusion on his appearance.
- His dub nickname, Franky, is, too, derived from Frankenstein, which is also a reference to Occult's dub naming motif and an allusion on his appearance.
- He is one of the players to retain his Japanese name in the European localization.
- He is one of the players to retain the same default hissatsu techniques in all mainline games he's in.
- Franken is featured in Teikoku Gakuen's concept artwork, suggesting he was originally intended to be a member of the team.
