Info[]
In the match between Inazuma Japan and Knights of Queen[1], Toramaru created it and used it, breaking through Freddie's Galatyn and successfully scoring Inazuma Japan's second goal. Shortly afterwards, Megane gave the technique its name.
In the match between Shiro Gumi and Makai Gundan Z[2], Toramaru used it, quickly getting past Astaroth and successfully scoring Shiro Gumi's second goal.
In the match between Inazuma Japan and Team Garshield[3], Toramaru used it to try to score, but it was stopped by Fox's Big Spider.
In the match between B Team and A Team[4], Toramaru used 真 Gladius Arch to try to score, but it was stopped by Endou's God Catch G5.
Acquirement[]
- Can be bought in Northern Toukyou's Penny Candy Store (
駄菓子屋 ) for 10,000 Nekketsu points.
Usage[]
As the surrounding area fades to black, the user gets into position, crouching and quickly extending both of their arms to the side, summoning seven small swords encased in blue energy in an archlike manner behind them. Once the swords break free of their encasement, the user reels back their right leg, pointing the swords forward and quickly shooting the ball upwards, covering it in bright yellow energy. The ball then curves down, coming back into reality as the swords quickly chase after it as it heads towards the goal.

Trivia[]
- Part of its name, Gladius, is a reference to the eponymous small sword used in Ancient Rome, a reference to its usage.
- In the anime, the user volleys the ball rather than kicking it upwards.
- In the Inazuma Eleven anime series, it is one of the hissatsu techniques to have skipped over an evolutionary stage.
- It shares this trait with God Hand, Nekketsu Punch, Killer Slide, God Knows, Illusion Ball, Senpuujin, Dark Tornado, Perfect Tower, The Typhoon, Bakunetsu Screw, Snow Angel, The Mountain, Dragon Slayer, Maou The Hand, God Catch, Soyokaze Step, Mach Wind, Power Spike, Death Drop, and Reverse World.
- In the English localization of the Inazuma Eleven anime, when it's used in its 真 stage[4], its evolutionary stage is omitted when said aloud.
