In the manga, Grand Fire was used for the first time in the match against Orpheus, breaking through Colosseo Guard.
Usage[]
The main user kicks the ball. Two other users then emerge and kick from the sides with one knee on the ground immediately after. Then there are a few swirls of fire erupting from it before giant fire spreads as it appears to break through the defense of the opponents' team.
In a game cutscene, Toramaru and Hiroto spin while performing Grand Fire.
In Inazuma Eleven Strikers, exist a variation of this technique. In the most common, Hiroto, Toramaru and Gouenji say "Grand Fire!". In the second one, available under certain circumstances and considered as a "Critical Shot", Hiroto says "Grand", Toramaru "Fire" and Gouenji "Ignition".
Gouenji also shouts "Ignition" in the Inazuma Eleven 3 game during its introductory cutscene, likely to meet the lip syncing demands of the animated scene.
Although Gouenji shoots with his left foot in the game and in the anime, in Inazuma Eleven Strikers he shoots with his right foot instead.
Error[]
When they perform this hissatsu in the match against Unicorn, Hiroto is still wearing the captain's armband like in the match against The Empire, even though he isn't the captain anymore.
