Hissatsu techniques (
Info[]
Game[]
Each technique requires a certain amount of TP to be used. A technique's base power usually scales with the amount of TP needed. Some hissatsu appear to be strong in the game, regardless of having a small amount of TP. In Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, Tension is required instead.
The technique can be transfered by copying a teached one on another character in the DS games using Waza Denju.

Anime[]
Hissatsu are one of the most important parts of the Inazuma Eleven universe, and are used in almost every episode.
List of all hissatsu: Hissatsu
Types[]
Hissatsu techniques are divided into 5 basic types: shoot, dribble, block, catch and skill. These same types are also used to divide Keshin and Souls.
Shoot[]
Lists: Shoot hissatsu, Shoot Keshin, Shoot Souls
Shoots (シュート, Shūto), are special techniques used to score goals. Volleys, bicycle kicks and headers are common methods of execution. In English games, these are labeled Shots.
Dribble[]
Lists: Dribble hissatsu, Dribble Keshin, Dribble Souls
Dribbles (ドリブル, Doriburu), or Offenses (オフェンス, Ofensu), utilize passes, dodges, feints, and charges to evade the opposition.
Block[]
Lists: Block hissatsu, Block Keshin, Block Souls
Blocks (ブロック, Burokku), or Defenses (ディフェンス, Defensu), use tackles and sliding tackles to capture the ball from an opposing player.
Catch[]
Lists: Catch Hissatsu, Catch Keshin, Catch Souls
Catch (キャッチ, Kyacchi; dub: Save), also known as Keeper (キーパー, Kīpā) in the Inazuma Eleven Strikers games, utilize catching, dives, and even punches to prevent a shoot from reaching the goal. It has a sub-type called Punching (パンチング, Panchingu).
Skill[]
- Main article: Skill
Skill (スキル, Sukiru) is a type of technique that requires no TP and has certain effects on players, techniques, or the team. It debuted in Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha.
Secondary types[]
First debuting in Inazuma Eleven 2, shoot and block hissatsu techniques may have secondary types beside their primary one. These include:
- Shoot Block (シュートブロック, Shūto Burokku) is a type of technique used to block incoming shoots, decreasing their power or repelling them altogether. Techniques in this group are shoot and block technique, and are marked with a red (yellow in the GO games) "B", or a blue wall icon in Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, at the end of their names. In Inazuma Eleven SD, all block techniques can be used to block shoots, but each shoot can be blocked only once. In the Inazuma Eleven Strikers series and Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, if a player uses a shoot technique to blocks a shot and success, the ball will shoot towards the opponents goal as if it were a Long Shoot, the power of the blocked shoot partially added to the shoot that blocked it. This type of Shoot Block is called Counter Shoot (カウンターシュート, Kauntā Shūto).
- Long Shoot (ロングシュート, Rongu Shūto) is a type of technique that can be used from anywhere on the pitch. However, its disadvantage is that the shot decreases its power depending how far it is. Techniques in this group are shoot techniques only, and are marked with a green (yellow in the GO games) "L", or a green shoot icon in Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, at the end of their names. In Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, Long Shoots may only be used during Focus.
- Shoot Chain (シュートチェイン, Shūto Chein) debuted in Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!! and is a type of technique used to power up a shoot currently used. Techniques in this group are shoot techniques only, and are marked with a blue (yellow in the GO games) "C" at the end of their names. Shoot Chains were excluded from Inazuma Eleven Strikers and Inazuma Eleven Strikers 2012 Xtreme, but were included in Inazuma Eleven GO Strikers 2013. In Inazuma Eleven SD and Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, all shoot techniques can be used as a Shoot Chain, but in SD each shoot can be chained only once. The character who scores the goal is the character who chains the shot and is therefore not the original character's shot.
- E.g.: If Someoka uses Dragon Crash and Gouenji chains it with Fire Tornado, and it scores, then the player who makes the goal is Gouenji and not Someoka.
Elements[]
- Main article: Elements
Like players, each technique is assigned one of the four elements. If a technique with the same element as the player's is used, its power will greatly increase.
Combination hissatsu techniques[]
Game[]
These techniques must be used with 1 or more partners. They can be anyone, but certain techniques only allow players with specific features to be partners. You can also let your partners be "random". You also don't have to be close to your chosen partners, but they must be on the field.
Anime[]
Combination hissatsu are used in all of the series. Some combination hissatsu are stronger than individual hissatsu, and are used frequently in the anime.

Evolution[]
Evolution is a concept introduced in Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha. After being used a certain number of times, a technique will evolve to its next stage, increasing its power.
Types[]
In Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha, there are two different types of evolution.
Kai Shinka (
G Shinka (
In Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!!, the V Shinka (

Growth rates[]
Each technique also has a growth rate (fast, medium, or slow) which determines the number of times needed to level up.
In Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, in order to evolve a hissatsu into GO, 神 or ∞, an ultimate move manual is needed to evolve them. Otherwise, they aren't evolvable and remain at 超, 絶 or 極, GX, and A, S or Z. When ultimate evolved, catches and blocks will have a TP cost of 85 while dribbles and shoots will have a TP cost of 99.
The manual is dropped by the following teams:
Override[]
In Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin, Override (オーバーライド, Ōbāraido) technique is a type of hissatsu techniques that requires more than one player to perform, being similar to combination technique. The difference is that override technique combines hissatsu techniques and override them into a whole new and more powerful hissatsu technique. For example, Fire Tornado and Triangle Z combine and override into Bakunetsu Storm.

Abnormal Condition[]
Exclusive to Inazuma Eleven SD, some technique has a chance to cause the Abnormal Condition (
- Nenshou (
燃焼 , lit. Burning): Inflicted figures will lose their GP and TP for 3 turns. - Touketsu (
凍結 , lit. Frozen): Inflicted figures will be unable to move for 3 turns. - Mahi (
麻痺 , lit. Paralysis): Inflicted figures' fail rate will be increased for 3 turns. - Kyoufu (
恐怖 , lit. Fear): Inflicted figures' parameter will be reduced for 3 turns.

Trivia[]
- An Ultimate Secret Technique (
究極 奥義 , Kyūkyoku Ōgi; dub: Mega Move) is another way to refer to techniques with the G-type evolution.- This was first mentioned in the Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha game while in the Inazuma Eleven anime, these techniques are the ones that were imagined by Daisuke and are noted in his notebooks.
- In Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha, all of the Aliea Gakuen techniques had a low TP cost, with none exceeding 35 TP. This was balanced by Aliea players having low maximum TP. Both were increased to normal levels in subsequent games.
- Before Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!!, some of the current Shoot Chains were Shoot Blocks in Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha.
- There is a test technique in Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!! called Dummy (ダミー, Damī), which can only be obtained with cheat codes.
- In the Inazuma Eleven anime, it's shown techniques can be used outside of sports settings, like in episode 48 when Touko used The Tower on a group of boys and in episode 85 when Endou used God Hand to stop a runaway tire.
- Before the Inazuma Eleven GO game, all techniques with the G-type evolution were either Shoot or Catch types.
- While the Inazuma Eleven anime has seen many techniques evolve, there were only a few in the Inazuma Eleven GO anime, and none in the Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin or Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin anime.
- It's hinted by several NPCs in all the games that techniques are not an exclusive prerogative of soccer, but also used in other sports. However, it's unknown how they work or even if they are used like mere emulations or parodies of the real ones.
- In episode 1 of the Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone anime, Kurumada uses Dash Train while playing rugby in the parallel universe, confirming that techniques can be used in sports other than soccer.
