Plot[]
As a member and one of the forwards for Gassan Kunimitsu, he was first seen wearing his team's jacket when they entered the Holy Liner to the stadium to play against Raimon. During the match, he tried to shoot twice, but the shots were stopped by Kariya Masaki's Hunter's Net. He's also one of the players who performed their hissatsu tactic, Tactics Cycle, but failed when Kirino Ranmaru found a way to break out of it. At the end of the match, they lost with 3-2.

Recruitment[]
Inazuma Eleven GO
In order to recruit Ichimonji, the following requirements are needed:
His surname, Ichimonji, is derived from 菊一文字, which, in turn, means Kiku Ichimonji, a katana made by thirteen swordsmiths, a reference to Gassan Kunimitsu's naming motif. Despite this, he never learns Kiku Ichimonji naturally.
His dub name, Nobby Naga, is derived from Oda Nobunaga, a daimyou, a reference to Gassan Kunimitsu's dub naming motif.
In Inazuma Eleven SD, game files indicate his Gassan Kunimitsu form was planned to appear as a playable figure, but, ultimately, ended up being unused.
