He is shown to be very aggressive and rude in the game. Though when he loses to Raimon in the main story, he gives up his attitude and turns friendly and kind.
He and his team were challenged by Reize in a match, but he and his team withdrew from the game, thinking that that was be the best way to save their school. Unfortunately, Reize disagreed with that. Later, when their school was about to be destroyed, Raimon came and they said that they would fight in their place. Demae was very thankful to them and in the match Raimon against Gemini Storm, he's shown to be the referee. However, when Raimon lost and their school got destroyed, he was seen crying as the result.
