Inazuma Eleven (イナズマイレブン, Inazuma Irebun, lit. Lightning Eleven), currently known as Raimon OB (雷門(らいもん)ＯＢ, lit. Thunder Gate OB) or Inazuma Eleven OB (イナズマイレブンＯＢ, Inazuma Irebun OB, lit. Lightning Eleven OB), was once a legendary team from 40 years before the start of the Inazuma Eleven series.

Uniform[]

The uniform is different from the current Raimon. It is a dark purple with yellow stripes down the shorts, white socks and dark purple boots with yellow stripes. The Goalkeeper uniform is red instead of purple.

Plot[]

Their coach was Daisuke who invented many hissatsu techniques which he wrote in his notebooks. Their captain was Hibiki, who later in the first season became Raimon's coach. Daisuke and all members of his team were in an accident before their match against Teikoku Gakuen because of interference with the bus, which caused them to stop playing soccer.

However, the accident was masterminded by Garshield, who was using Kageyama to prevent them from interfering with his plan.

This team is the reason of the series' name.
Though Hibiki is the captain, he doesn't wear the captain's band.
- Interestingly, Furukabu is seen wearing the captain's band when substituting for Hibiki against Gemini Storm.
The "OB" on their name and uniform means "Old Boys", which means former members of a school (in this team's case, of Raimon).
In the Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha game they are shown to be under the control of the Aliea Meteorite. They are also indistinguishable under their coats.
In the Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha game, they use Young Inazuma's goal celebration voicelines in the taisen route.
- Interestingly, the English version corrects this by recording unique voicelines for Raimon OB, though the voice is different from Hibiki's English dub voice.
They are the only opposing team from Inazuma Eleven not to have a reserve following Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha, where most other teams had a reserve player transition to the position.
- Interestingly, Furukabu is revealed to be a in Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, although he is not part of the team when fought in the story or taisen routes.
