Inazuma Eleven Wiki

Please keep this guide in mind while editing character articles.

Naming[]

Character articles should have the full name of the character, family name first, as the name of the page. Alternate names such as nicknames and dub names should redirect to the parent article. It should be noted that this wiki avoids the use of macrons in titles; for instance, Gouenji Shuuya, instead of Gōenji Shūya.

Character template[]

The character template should be added before any content, filled with all known info about the character. All irrelevant or inapplicable parameters should be left out. The image used for the template should be of the highest quality possible.

Introduction[]

In general, the first paragraph of a character article should be as follows:

Romanized character name (family name first) (kanji for the name, transliteration if not the same as the name), is a (position on the field) for (team).

Other notable details might go here if they're important enough, like nicknames, change of teams. Noting their change in roles within the Inazuma Eleven universe should be done here too.

Sections[]

After the introduction, the article needs the following sections, if applicable, in the following order.

  • Profile: profile description of the character from each game they appear in
  • Appearance: general appearance of the character across all titles; this section can have subsections if needed (describing Mixi Max appearance, for instance)
  • Personality
  • Plot: for characters with sufficient info, this section can have title-based subsections; all subsections must be in order of release of the title; sub-subsections (level 4 headers) may be added if necessary
  • Movie: plot overview for the movies, in order of release
  • Game appearance: in-game sprites and models from each game the character appears in; subsections: Character avatar (in-game sprites), Wii avatar (Wii-specific sprites), Character view (full body models)
  • Voicelines: the character's voicelines from each game they appear in. This may include their goal celebrations, or special dialogue from the Strikers or SD games, but should NOT include voiced story mode dialogue or random grunts (unless used as a conceding voiceline). Preferably, these should be listed with a .ogg audio file, and transcriptions in both English and Japanese if applicable.
  • Recruitment
  • Stats
  • Hissatsu: in game order, using the H template; if a hissatsu is used only in the anime it should be noted before the game titles
  • Keshin
  • Keshin fusion
  • Mixi Max
  • Soul
  • Game exclusive teams
  • Gallery: if the character does not have a separate gallery article, all images should be in a gallery under this section
  • Trivia: this section should be kept as small as possible; relevant read
  • Navigation: list of all navigation boxes the character is a part of

Categories[]

Lastly, the appropriate categories should be added. The character template and novboxes automatically add several relevant categories and other applicable ones should be added manually at the end: title-specific (for instance, GO characters), game mechanic (for instance, Keshin users), role-specific (for instance, Coaches) and organization-based (for instance, Resistance).
