Inazuma Otoshi is a hissatsu technique created by Daisuke[1], being described as a technique to defeat opponents in aerial attacks. Trying to interpret Daisuke's onomatopoeian description, Gouenji realized the technique needed two users in order to be performed, with one serving as a stepping stone and the other delievering an overhead kick. Endou would then delegate the learning of this technique to Gouenji and Kabeyama.
Thereafter, the two focused on training their jumping abilities[1], having Kabeyama jump with two tires tied around him and Gouenji being launched off of Kazemaru and Someoka's arms to perform the overhead kick and safely land. After improving their jumping abilities[2], Kabeyama revealed his acrophobia as he would unintentionally look down in mid-air and cause him to lose balance, thus making him an unstable platform.
In the match between Raimon and Nose[2], Kabeyama and Gouenji tried using, but were unable to as Niwatori managed to jump over Gouenji, intimidating Kabeyama and enabling his acrophobia. Gouenji urged Kabeyama to try to use it again, but Kabeyama felt disheartened and didn't jump, losing the loose ball in the process. Seeing the sacrifice of his exhausted teammates to give him and Gouenji the ball, Kabeyama mustered up the courage to overcome his acrophobia, succesfully using it and quickly getting past Inoshishi, scoring Raimon's first and winning goal.
In the match between Raimon and Nose[7], Inazuma Otoshi was designed and named by Endou, seeing it as a strategy to soar above Washi, who was defending the goal from the sky. While trying to perform the technique, Kabeyama was knocked to the ground by Lion, making him unable to be a platform for Gouenji. However, by using The Wall as Gouenji jumped off his downed body, it propelled him high enough to perform the technique and score.

As the user turns around with the ball, their partner runs towards them, jumping simultaneously. The partner then jumps on the user's belly, akin to a trampoline, flipping in mid-air and getting ready to overhead the ball. As the partner overheads the ball, it gets covered in blue lightning, heading towards the goal in a charged blue lighting ray.
In the game files of the LEVEL5 Premium: Silver demo, it is named イナズマオトシ (Inazuma Otoshi, lit. Lightning Drop), fully using Katakana.
In the Inazuma Eleven game's files, a duplicate hissatsu manual exists for Inazuma Otoshi. If acquired through modifying the game, it cannot be taught to any players.
Interestingly, the duplicate hissatsu manual has a different description to the original, and its menu typography in the European version possesses wider kerning than other hissatsu techniques.
In the Inazuma Eleven Nintendo DS games, the user is required to either be medium or small-sized, while their partner has to be large-sized.
