Appearance[]
Iwato is a well-built boy with a large square head, he has small black eyes and short dark-teal hair.
His casual outfit consists of an orange sweater and knee-length jeans.
Personality[]
At the first glance he makes impression as if he was threatening because of his appearance. But in fact he is very kind, polite and good-natured, much like Kabeyama. He always tries hard to do his best.
Plot[]
Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin[]
Iwato played for Inakuni Raimon during the Football Frontier and was the first member of the team to learn a hissatsu technique, which was The Wall. Later, he went on to use his hissatsu to try and block shots such as The Explosion, Cosmic Blaster and King's Lance towards the end of the tournament.
Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin[]
He was chosen to play for Inazuma Japan and he debuted for Inazuma Japan against Uzbekistan's national team, Eternal Dancers.
He’s utilised against Arab no Hinotori Gundan coming on in exchange for Kazemaru Ichirouta as a consequence of injury.
He’s utilised against Soccer Zatsugidan being utilised on the starting eleven before being removed in exchange for Saginuma Osamu.
He’s utilised again against Navy Invader again featuring on the starting eleven. During the fixture he features in a combination Hissatsu technique (GGG Senjou no Aria) scoring on a single occasion. The fixture also marks the first and final instance in which he plays for the entirety of a game for his country.
He’s utilised again on a final occasion against Perfect Spark during the final of the Football Frontier International again featuring on the starting eleven.
