• His surname, Kasayama, is derived from 博多祇園山笠, which, in turn, means Hakata Gion Yamakasa, a Japanese festival held in Fukuoka, a reference to Yokato's naming motif.
• In the Inazuma Eleven Nintendo DS games, he is a scout character instead of a member of Yokato.
  • However, Kasayama appears as a member of the team in the ending credits of Inazuma Eleven 3: Sekai e no Chousen!!, and, later, in the team's concept art for the Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin game.
