Nishiki used this technique once again during the Ragnarok match between El Dorado Team 01 and Zan. Nishiki succeeded in passing through a member of Zan by using Kuroshio Ride.
Usage[]
The user crosses their arms together as a whirlpool begins to form around them. Then a dragon, made out of water, appears and the user rides on its head. The water dragon then begins to pass through the opponent as the user leaves with the ball.
Part of its name, Kuroshio, is a reference to the eponymous north-flowing current from the North Pacific Ocean from Alaska to the north-east side of Japan, a reference to Sakamoto's ideal of forming a bridge between America and Japan.
Interestingly, the dragon on Kuroshio Ride is a reference to the Kanji character for "Ryou," 竜, in Sakamoto's name, Sakamoto Ryouma, meaning dragon.
