Info[]

Last Resort was used during the match between Inazuma Japan and Red Bison. After Gouenji Shuuya was set up free in front of Red Bison's goal by Inazuma Japan's hissatsu tactics, Juu to Gou, Gouenji fired his Last Resort. The intense shot easily broke through Shin Rae-won's Fire Wall, scoring the 1-1 for Inazuma Japan.

Later in the match Gouenji attempted to use the technique again, but Baek Shi-woo deliberately prevented him from doing so by blinding him with mirrors and having others attack his leg when he is blinded.

It was later revealed that it was Gouenji using Last Resort who Clario Orvan saw during the night. The fact that Gouenji had such an amazing technique, surprised him.

In Russia, Gouenji picked Asuto, Nosaka and Haizaki to inherit his technique, and make it a 3-player technique, as his leg wasn't strong enough yet. The three agreed and started training on the technique. However, they couldn't finish it yet. They later used it during the match between Inazuma Japan and Muteki no Giant but since it was still incomplete, it was easily stopped by Spain's The Shelter.

Last Resort is used again by the trio in the match between Inazuma Japan and Guardians of Queen. However, the shoot failed due to Haizaki's leg injury and preferably using a right foot for left rotations (which is insufficient for Last Resort), which allowed Racerit Spto to easily catch the ball.

Kozoumaru used the technique successfully not long after in the match. It easily broke through Racerit Spto's Tricera Shield even with his supporters at maximum output powering up the technique, but Petronio Patti managed to counter the technique with his own Last Resort, Last Resort D.

Gouenji used Last Resort during the match between Zhao Jinyuns and Shadow of Orion but before it was able to go into the goal, the technique went upwards and missed the goal entirely due to the air current that was in front of the goal.

Usage[]

There are two variations of this hissatsu in the anime. The first one requires the user to cross their arms over their head before quickly uncrossing them, causing smoke to appear around them and a massively large red and blue ball above the user's head. The user then jumps up and does a back flip, using both legs to send the ball flying downwards, covering the ball in a blue aura. As the ball travels downwards, the user quickly slides in and lies down, doing a back kick using their left leg to spin the ball causing it to emit a reddish orange spiral. The user jumps up towards the ball and kicks it again using their left leg, causing it to emit a purple aura. As the ball travels forward, it leaves a trail of dust and rocks that quickly forms into a dragon-like shape. The ball travels underground and flies back up in arcs as it nears the goal.

In the second variation, it requires three users. The first user crosses their arms and quickly uncrosses them, causing smoke to appear around them, and a large red and blue ball above their head. The first user then jumps up and does a back flip, using both legs to kick the ball, sending it flying downwards. The second user slides in towards the ball and uses their right leg to do a back kick, causing the ball to emit a fiery spiral around it. The third user jumps up and uses their right leg to kick the ball. The ball flies forward in a purple aura with a trail of dust and rocks that form a dragon like shape. In its incomplete state, the rocks form a dragon-like shape but quickly falls apart.
