Mack Scride (マック・スクライド, Makku Sukuraido) is the coach for Unicorn.
In the alternate timeline of Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin, he is the coach for Star Unicorn, and, later, for Navy Invader.
Appearance[]
Mack has fair skin and amber hair which is tied in a ponytail. He wears black aviator sunglasses and he wears a red bandanna around his head. He is shirtless but wears a black jacket, coupled with dark blue jeans. He wears fingerless gloves and brown cowboy boots.
Personality[]
He is a very caring person, as seen in episode 99, where he took Ichinose Kazuya off the field because he knew about his condition.
Plot[]
Inazuma Eleven[]
He first appeared in episode 98, watching his team play against Inazuma Japan. In the next episode, it was shown that he knew about Ichinose's condition and took him off the field in the second half of the match.
Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin[]
Mack made his first appearance in episode 28, when America's national team, Star Unicorn, came back from their match with Russia's national team, Perfect Spark. While he was talking with Ichinose and Domon, some members of Inazuma Japan appeared and proposed later a small game for fun, with Mack serving as a referee. Once they had finished their game, some helicopters flew towards the field, much to the surprise of all. People dressed in military uniforms came down and lined up in two rows, with their commander, Bahart, silently gesturing them what to do. In the blink of an eye, they approached Mack and caught him, with Bahart stating Mack was being arrested on suspicion of illegal usage of his team's budget and violation of their trust. As Mack tried denying Bahart's accusations, Bahart explained that it was a direct order from the American soccer association and that even if Mack was innocent, it would take several months for him to prove as such, gesturing his subordinates once again and effectively taking Mack out of the picture, much to Star Unicorn's opposition.
Mack would return in episode 31, appearing right after Inazuma Japan scored with GGG Senjou no Aria alongside Ichinose, Domon, Mark, and Dylan. He revealed to Bahart he inquired the American soccer association about his supposed crimes, which the association cleared of any suspicion as he didn't commit any. The American soccer association thereafter started an investigation on Bahart, arresting him in the middle of the match and thus reinstating Mack as America's coach. Once Bahart was out of the picture, Mack ordered a player substitution, switching Shakey, Smokey, and Convoy for Ichinose, Domon, and Mark respectively.
