Majin The Wave

Majin The Wave (マジン・ザ・ウェイブ, Majin Za Weibu, lit. Demon God The Wave) is a catch hissatsu technique introduced in Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin.

Norika first showed this technique to Endou Mamoru the day she joined Inazuma Japan, to show her improvements. This made Endou quite impressed. Later during the match against Perfect Spark, Norika refused to use the technique to stop Froy Girikanan's Innocent Drive, as it went against her pride. This resulted in her conceding the first goal. However, after Endou motivated her to still use it, she managed to stop Innocent Drive the second time. Later, she faced Innocent Drive once again and just like the first time, she managed to save it with Majin The Wave.

During the second half, she faced Malik Kuabel's Double Head Eagle in the dying seconds of the match. As Norika was influenced by the gas, she wasn't fully focused and failed to stop the powerful shot with Majin The Wave, thus letting in Russia's winning goal.

During the match between Inazuma Japan and Guardians of Queen, Norika used it to stop Unbalance Pisa, but failed due to the shot's ferocity. She later used it for the second time to stop Matteo Domenico's Bousou Chariot but failed to stop that technique as well, making the score 0-3.

Usage[]

The player swipes one hand and spins, creating a streak of blue water. The user then casts the water upwards as it spirals into a big spinning ball of water above. As the user spins more, the spinning ball of water extends into arm shapes and quickly morphs into a Majin, which looks like a goddess from waves. The Majin imitates the user as he/she draws his/her hand back and thrusts it forward to stop the ball. If the hissatsu is successful in catching the ball, the Majin will encapsulate the ball in her fist as the ball spirals through the water, letting the user catch it.
