Anime[]
In the match between Raimon and Diamond Dust[1], Endou created it on a whim as he was about to use Seigi no Tekken outside the penalty area, successfully deflecting Gazel's Northern Impact with an incomplete Megaton Head.
Amidst Endou's training to complete Megaton Head[2], Endou tried using Megaton Head, but kept on using his hands instead of his head as he was using Seigi no Tekken as the basis. In order to prevent Endou from using his hands again, Kidou suggested tying tires around Endou's arms so he could concentrate all of his power on his head. Continuing his training, Endou managed to fully materialize the orange hand through his head, successfully deflecting Gouenji's shot. Seeing this, Kidou suggested Endou to test it against a hissatsu technique, which Endou agreed. After taking off the tires, Endou used it, successfully deflecting Kidou, Gouenji, and Ichinose's Koutei Penguin 2gou and completing Megaton Head. Shortly afterwards, Megane gave the technique its name.
In the match between Raimon and Chaos[3], Endou used it, successfully rebounding Burn's Atomic Flare, blowing him away in the process. Endou used it again[4], quickly getting past Grent and successfully scoring Raimon's seventh goal.
In the second and last match between Raimon and The Genesis[5], Endou used it, successfully rebounding Wheeze's shot. Endou used it again following Gouenji's aerial pass with Bakunetsu Storm to try to score[6], but it was stopped by Nero's Procyon Net. Endou used it once more following Touko, Tsunami, and Kogure's Perfect Tower, successfully rebounding Gran's Ryuusei Blade. Endou used it one last time following Tachimukai's Mugen The Hand G2[7], successfully rebounding Gran, Ulvida, and Wheeze's Supernova, blowing him away in the process.
In the match between Orpheus and Team K[8], Endou used it, quickly getting past Indigo and successfully scoring Orpheus' first goal.
Amidst Inazuma Japan's training[9], Endou used Megaton Head G2 to try to score, but it was stopped by Tachimukai's Maou The Hand.
In the match between Erabareta 11nin and Dark Angel[10], Endou used Megaton Head G3, getting past Sein's bodily defense and successfully scoring Erabareta 11nin's second and winning goal.
Movie[]
In the match between Inazuma Best Eleven and Inazuma Battle Eleven, Endou used it, successfully rebounding Zanark's shot and making it go out of bounds in the process.
Acquirement[]
- Received from Manyuuji's Coach upon defeating Manyuuji in Chapter 4.
Usage[]
The user puts their arms in front of their face, quickly reeling them back as an orange orb appears on their forehead and draws in fleeting, white shockwaves. A huge, yellow hand appears behind them, gripped by orange sparks coming from the orange orb, clenching and turning into a fist. They then cross their arms and rapidly reel them back, heading the ball with the fist and covering it with spiky, yellow energy, curving as it heads towards the goal.

Trivia[]
- Megaton Head was a winning entry for a CoroCoro magazine hissatsu contest and introduced into the series[11].
- In the Inazuma Eleven anime, it's one of the hissatsu techniques Endou learns without the help of Daisuke's notebooks.
- It shares this trait with Bakuretsu Punch, Ijigen The Hand, and God Catch.
- In the English localization of the Inazuma Eleven anime, its G2 evolutionary stage[9] was skipped over for unknown reasons.
- This causes a continuation error as it's shown to have evolved to its G3 stage in the match against Dark Angel[10].
