Meissa (メイサ, Meisa) is a defender for Shadow of Orion.
Appearance[]
Meissa has a skinny, somewhat tall build with fair skin. She has long, puffy hair resembling a cloud, which is cordovan in color featuring celestial blue highlights towards the ends. Her eyes are dark purple with rose taupe pupils, and cordovan eyebrows.
Plot[]
Following Irina's declaration to the world[1], Meissa appears alongside her team, Shadow of Orion, to play a match against Zhao Jinyuns.
In the second half[2], Meissa, working together with Tabit, Yurika, and Saiph, stop Nosaka, Ichihoshi, Haizaki, and Asuto's Last Resort Σ dead in its tracks using a whirlwind generated by their simultaneous axe kick. Following this, Meissa, along with her team, toys with Asuto by repeatedly trapping his passes and returning the ball to him. Following a series of substitutions, Meissa has the ball stolen from her by Petronio.
During Yurika's vision, an image of her appears in the snowy field alongside her teammates, all emerging from the shadows thanks to the sparks kindled in their hearts. Later, Zhao Jinyuns' final chain shoot breaks through Meissa's combined defense with Saiph and Tabit, scoring the winning goal for Zhao Jinyuns. As the stadium's roof collapses, Meissa is given a ball by Endou and joins the world's players in destroying the roof.

Trivia[]
- Her name, Meissa, is a reference to the eponymous star located in the Orion constellation, a reference to Shadow of Orion's naming motif.
- Incidentally, her hairstyle and hair color are similar to the star's appearance.
