Mintaka (ミンタカ) is a midfielder for Shadow of Orion.
Appearance[]
Mintaka has a short build with pale skin. His medium-length hair is royal yellow, with a square fringe and long locks falling on either side of his head ending with Peruvian brown highlights. He has royal yellow irises, with small eyebrows of the same color. Additionally, he has a small, Peruvian brown circle on his forehead.
Plot[]
Following Irina's declaration to the world[1], Mintaka appears alongside his team, Shadow of Orion, to play a match against Zhao Jinyuns.
In the second half[2], Mintaka picks up the rogue ball following Froy's slide, and continues to dribble up the field with it. As Kidou orders the team to continue hounding them, Mintaka makes a quick pass to Alnilam, who chains it to Alnitak. Later, thanks to Kidou's strategy, Mintaka has the ball stolen from him by Li. Following Clario, Ichinose, and Haizaki's goal with Perseus Orb, Mintaka is shocked, stating that this is an unnatural development. Following Shadow of Orion's kick-off, Mintaka dodges Ichihoshi by passing to Rigel.
During Yurika's vision, an image of him appears in the snowy field alongside his teammates, all emerging from the shadows thanks to the sparks kindled in their hearts.

Trivia[]
- His name, Mintaka, is a reference to the eponymous main star located in Orion's Belt, a reference to Shadow of Orion's naming motif.
