Mixi Max (ミキシマックス, Mikishi Makkusu; dub: Mix 'n' Match) is a feature introduced in Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone that makes it possible to fuse a player with someone else's aura.

This feature is most prominently used to assemble the "Strongest Eleven In History", as detailed by Endou Daisuke's Hasha no Seiten.

Anime[]

Mixi Max first debuted in episode 2, used by Fei Rune after Clark Wonderbot Mixi Maxed him with Tyranno's aura. With the newly acquired power and appearance, Fei was able to easily pass through Protocol Omega's defense and score with his Mixi Max hissatsu technique, Kodai no Kiba.

Since then, Mixi Maxes are mostly done to assemble the "Strongest Eleven In History", as detailed by Endou Daisuke's Hasha no Seiten, requiring Raimon to travel across different eras in order to find historical figures, and Mixi Max them with the ideal player. However, antagonists such as Zanark Avalonic were also shown to be able to Mixi Max, without needing the Mixi Max Gun.

Movie[]

Mixi Maxes are able to be done by the members of Shinsei Inazuma Japan, such as Nishizono Shinsuke and Amemiya Taiyou, without the intent of assembling Daisuke's "Strongest Eleven In History" but rather, with the intent of playing soccer, suggesting it takes place in a parallel world.

Game[]

It is possible to Mixi Max any player with any other player, as long as they're on the player's party and the aura isn't on the main party slot, offering a great deal of combinations. When selecting an aura, two of their hissatsu techniques or skills must also be selected to pass onto the user.

In Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone, the user gains 75% for the favored stats (determined by the aura's position, element and gender) and 50% for every other stat. If the Mixi Max is a Best Match, the user gains 100% for the favored stats and 50% for every other stat.

In Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, Mixi Maxes provide a smaller stat boost, wherein the user gains 10% for the favored stats and 5% for every other stat. Unlike its predecessor, Best Matches provide no additional stats over regular Mixi Matches.

In addition to hissatsu techniques and/or skills, Keshin can be inherited through Mixi Max, allowing the user to have two Keshin. There are, however, a set of restrictions:

  • If the aura has the ability to summon a Keshin but the user does not, the user will not be able to summon the aura's Keshin;
  • If the aura has the abilty to use Keshin Armed but the user does not, the user will not be able to use Keshin Armed on either Keshin;
  • The aura's Keshin, as well as their hissatsu techniques, cannot be raised further;
  • In Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, if the aura can summon a Soul and the user can only summon a Keshin, the user can summon the aura's Soul.

Furthermore, a player whose aura is being used cannot participate in matches and/or soccer battles as they will automatically be removed from any teams they are a part of and thus will not be able to gain any experience points.

Official tutorial in Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone's site.

Mixi Maxes are activated by tapping the light purple and red M icon (a purple M in the localized version). A screen will then be shown highlighting the players who are able to Mixi Max, with a maximum of three players to select. Once chosen, a yellow button at the bottom will appear and, when pressed, the selected player will enter the Mixi Max animation and a yellow aura around them will appear on the field. In this state, the user loses 1 additional GP per step, and the Mixi Max runs out once the user's GP reaches 0 or is moved to the bench.

In Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, Mixi Maxes are everlasting as they will not run out, even when the user's GP reaches 0, unless the player themselves removes the aura from the user.

Best Match[]

Some Mixi Maxes between players do not give just a small change in appearance, like a different hair color, but, instead, a whole new look. These Mixi Maxes are called Best Match Mixi Maxes, which, as aforementioned, gives greater stat boosts than regular Mixi Maxes.

Moreover, each Best Match Mixi Max gives an extra hissatsu technique or skill, unrelated to the aura's moveset. Akin to regular Mixi Maxes, however, the extra hissatsu technique cannot be raised further.

Mixi Max Gun[]

The Mixi Max Gun (ミキシマックス・ガン, Mikishi Makkusu Gan) is a gun wielded by Clark Wonderbot. It has the ability to store one person's aura into another person, fusing their capabilities together.

Usage[]

The negative end of the gun is pointed at the person whose aura will be taken, while the positive end is pointed at the person who will receive the aura. The person at whom the positive end of the Mixi Max Gun is placed is declared the user of Mixi Max. When it's successful, Wandaba shouts "Mixi Max, Complete!".

The Ghost Mixi Max (ゴーストミキシマックス, Gōsuto Mikishi Makkusu; dub: Spirit Miximax) is a derivation of the Mixi Max, which gives someone's aura to the others.

Users[]

Info[]

Ghost Mixi Max was first used by Beta in episode 11, while Raimon was leading 3-2 against Protocol Omega 2.0. It boosted her teammates, which made Protocol Omega 2.0 scoring three other goals and winning the game 5-3.

Beta used it once more during the match between Raimon and Protocol Omega 2.0, that was played in the Sengoku era, to give teammates more power again.

Forced Mixi Max[]

Forced Mixi Max (強制(きょうせい) ミキシマックス, Kyōsei Mikishi Makkusu; dub: Enforced Miximax) is a Mixi Max performed without the Mixi Max Gun. This is done when the aura resonates with the user, usually with their feelings.

Info[]

In the Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone series, there are four instances of Forced Mixi Max:

Trivia[]

  • In the English localization, despite it being named Mix 'n' Match, it is often referred to as Miximax.
  • In the Inazuma Eleven GO games, Keshin Armed and Soul can be used along with Mixi Max, while, in the Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone anime, only very skilled players, like Fei, can use Mixi Max and Keshin Armed at the same time.
  • In episode 32, Wandaba said it would be hard to Mixi Max Rockstar with Fei as she was on the verge of death.
  • In the Inazuma Eleven games, using a player as an aura for another player is one of the two methods to prevent a player from gaining any experience points.
    • The other method is by having a player learning or naturally learning the Namakeru skill.
  • In Inazuma Eleven GO Strikers 2013 Mixi Max can also be used as an offensive and/or defensive tactic.
    • This is due to Shoot, Dribble and Block hissatsu techniques being cancelled when someone is Mixi Maxed.
