Info[]

Mugen The Hand is an incomplete ultimate secret technique created by Daisuke[1], involving both the user's eyes and their mind's eye[2], with their ears being crucial to identifying any incoming shot. As Raimon were adapting themselves to a new formation with Endou as a libero, Endou designated Tachimukai to master Mugen The Hand. Trying to interpret Daisuke's onomatopoeian description[3], Tsunami compared it to weak waves continuously crashing on a rock, wearing it down and thus breaking it, which made Tachimukai realize Mugen The Hand needed multiple hands instead of concentrating it all on one.

Amidst Raimon's training[2], Tachimukai used it in its incomplete form to try to catch the ball, but it was broken through by Touko's shot.

Amidst Raimon's training at Teikoku Gakuen[3], Tachimukai used it in its incomplete form, sucessfully catching Tsunami's shot.

In the practice match between Raimon and Teikoku Gakuen[3], Tachimukai used it in its incomplete form, successfully catching Kidou, Domon, and Endou's incomplete Death Zone. Upon realizing Tsunami's comparison, Tachimukai used it again in its incomplete form to try to catch the ball, but Kidou, Domon, and Endou's Death Zone quickly got past it.

Amidst Raimon's training for Chaos[4], Tachimukai used it several times in its incomplete form to try to catch the ball, but all attempts were broken through by Tsunami's Tsunami Boost.

In the match between Raimon and Chaos[5], upon being able to perceive and hear the ball, Tachimukai mastered it and used it, sucessfully catching Burn's Atomic Flare Tachimukai used it again to try to catch the ball, but it was broken through by Burn and Gazel's Fire Blizzard.

Amidst each Raimon member getting ready to head to Mount Fuji[6], Tachimukai used it several times, sucessfully catching all of Tsunami's shots.

In the second and last match between Raimon and The Genesis[7], Tachimukai used it to try to catch the ball, but it was broken through by Gran's Ryuusei Blade. Tachimukai used it again to try to catch the ball[8], but it was broken through by Gran's Ryuusei Blade once more. Tachimukai evolved Mugen The Hand, using Mugen The Hand G2 and sucessfully catching Gran's Ryuusei Blade. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G2 again to try to catch the ball, but it was quickly broken through by Gran, Ulvida, and Wheeze's Supernova. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G2 twice to try to catch the ball[9], but both attempts were broken through by Gran, Ulvida, and Wheeze's Supernovas again. Tachimukai evolved Mugen The Hand G2, using Mugen The Hand G3 and successfully cathing Gran, Ulvida, and Wheeze's Supernova. Upon The Genesis releasing their limiters, Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G3 again, but it was broken through by Ulvida, Gran, and Wheeze's Space Penguin. Tachimukai evolved Mugen The Hand G3, using Mugen The Hand G4 and sucessfully catching Ulvida, Gran, and Wheeze's Space Penguin.

In the match between Raimon and Dark Emperors[10], Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G4, successfully catching Kazemaru's shot. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G4 again to try to catch the ball, but it was quickly broken through by Someoka's Wyvern Crash. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G4 thrice to try to catch the ball[11], but all attempts were broken through by Handa and Max's Revolution V and Kazemaru, Someoka, and Max's two Dark Phoenixes, respectively.

In the match between Nippon Daihyou Kouho B and Nippon Daihyou Kouho A[12], Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G4, successfully catching Someoka's Wyvern Crash V2. Tachimukai used it again to try to catch the ball, but it was quickly broken through by Fubuki's Wolf Legend.

In the match between Inazuma Japan and Fire Dragon[13], Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G5, successfully catching Aphrodi's 真 God Knows. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G5 twice again to try to catch the ball[14], but both attempts were broken through by Burn's Atomic Flare and Aphrodi's God Break, respectively. Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G5 once more to try to catch the ball[15], but it was broken through by Burn and Gazel's Fire Blizzard.

In the match between Inazuma Japan and The Empire[16], Tachimukai used Mugen The Hand G5, but it was broken through by Leone's Hellfire.

Usage[]

Anime[]

It has four unique animations.

In its first incomplete form, the user closes their eyes as the ball heads towards the goal. Once the ball closes in on them, they quickly spread their arms forward, making a big, blue energy hand appear in front of them, catching it in their hands if successful.

In its second incomplete form, the user closes their eyes as the ball heads towards the goal. Once the ball closes in on them, they quickly spread their arms forward, making multiple blue energy hands appear around them, catching it in their hands if successful.

In its third incomplete form, the user quickly claps their hands together, making a big, blue energy hand appear within them. As the ball heads towards the goal, the hand slowly moves forward, catching it in their hands if successful.

In its complete form, the user slowly spreads out their arms to their side, gathering yellow energy in their hands. They then clap their hands together, making multiple yellow hands appear around them. As the ball heads towards the goal, they get into position and crouch, spreading their arms forward and making the hands move to the ball, clamping down on it and catching it in their hands if successful.

Trivia[]

  • In its incomplete form, the hands were blue, but when Tachimukai finally mastered it, the hands turned yellow like other hissatsu techniques created by Daisuke.
  • In the Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha game, Endou was originally intended to be the one to master Mugen The Hand, but he designated Tachimukai to master it instead so he could focus on mastering Seigi no Tekken.
  • In the Inazuma Eleven anime, it is the only technique to have evolved more than one stage in the same episode[9].
  • In the Inazuma Eleven anime, despite Tachimukai having it evolved to G4 by the selection match[12], Tachimukai didn't have it explicitly evolved on the second and last match with The Genesis[8][9] nor on the Dark Emperors match[10][11].
  • In the Inazuma Eleven anime, the number of hands clamping on the ball depend on the evolutionary stage of the technique, them being 4 hands at its regular stage, 6 at its G2 stage, 8 at its G3 stage, 10 at its G3 stage, and 12 at its G5 stage.
