In order to recruit Nakatani, he has to be selected first in the Connections System. After selecting him, he will be near Nara's stairs and will offer to join the player's party once talked to.

Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone

In order to recruit Nakatani, the following requirements are needed:

Item: Cool Membership Card (かっこいい会員証, randomly dropped from Good Ends (グッドエンズ) [N] or Good Mens (グッドメンズ) [R] in Inazuma Town's Station entrance)
Photo: Pavilion (東屋の写真, taken at the Kongming's Garden Field)
Item: Wooden Carved Deer (木彫りのシカ, randomly dropped from Fluffy Animal B (ふわふわアニマルＢ) [N] or Scratchy Animal B (さくさくアニマルＢ) [R] at Grief Cave's entrance in the King Arthur's era)
