Reef Hamilton (リーフ・ハミルトン, Rīfu Hamiruton) is a forward for Big Waves.

Since they live in Australia, a country surrounded by oceans, the members of Big Waves are considered to be well ad-versed in the water.

Reef has fair skin and is of standard height. He has long wavy yellow-green hair and his eyes are cyan in colour.

He first appeared in the first FFI preliminaries match with his team against Inazuma Japan. They appeared to have the initial upper hand with their strong hissatsu technique Box Lock Defense as well as Jean Baker's Great Barrier Reef. The hissatsu was eventually broken by Tsunami's new hissatsu The Typhoon and subsequently Gouenji's Bakunetsu Screw. The match ended with Inazuma Japan winning with a score of 2-1.

In order to recruit Reef, Big Waves has to be defeated first in Hirai Shinzou's taisen route. After recruiting him from the machine, he will be located in the Football Association parking lot.

  • Reef's name is an obvious reference to the famed Great Barrier Reef located near Australia, or just reefs in general.
  • His last name Hamilton is a reference to the surfer Laird Hamilton.
    • It could also be a reference to Hamilton Island which is the largest inhabited island of the in the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia.
