SEED

A SEED (シード, Shīdo; dub: Imperial) is a player placed on a team by Fifth Sector in order to exert control over it.

SEEDs have greater power, speed, and strength than any of the other members of their team.

All SEEDs went through harsh training in God Eden, resulting in their superior abilities and is likely how most of them they learned to use their Keshin.

Trivia

• Its name, SEED, is a reference to the eponymous plant embryo.
  • In the same way seeds in real life are planted to grow plants, SEEDs are planted in teams to grow Fifth Sector's influence and control.
• Eito Gakuen and Arakumo Gakuen are the only opponent teams under Fifth Sector that do not have a SEED.
  • Fifth Sector did not assign any SEEDs to Arakumo Gakuen due to its players being naturally powerful to win the Holy Road. In turn, Arakumo Gakuen abided to Fifth Sector's instructions and its captain, Taiyou, had a close relationship with the Holy Emperor, Ishido.
• Kuro no Kishidan, Kaiou Gakuen, Dragonlink, Unlimited Shining, and Ancient Dark are teams entirely composed of SEEDs.
  • The same could also be assumed about the members of Seidouzan, a team trained directly by the Holy Emperor.
    • In Inazuma Eleven SD, during the SEED Shuuketsu event, it is confirmed Kurosaki is a SEED.
