Sar Gatanas (サル・ガタナス, Saru Gatanasu) is a forward for Shining Satans.
Appearance[]
Sar is tall but skinny with a very pale skin. His hair is very long, with a dark grey tone. Below the neck, his hair is braided. He also has a long streak that covers his left eye and two floaty thin and light blue streaks on the sides. He has yellow eyes and a scar looking like a closed eye.
Personality[]
He is calm and cunning on the pitch especially using hypnosis and mirrors. He is the most loyal follower of Satan Gaul, calling him "Satan-sama", showing a lot of respect for his captain. He seems to be really calm but confident about his capicities and Australia's chances to win.
Plot[]
He, As Taroth and Satan Gaul all worked together during the match with Inazuma Japan and talked to each other about the current situation on the field and their next strategies. He agreed with Satan Gaul that Inazuma Japan wasn't a threat for them at all. He wasn't even surprised when Japan's players found out that Shining Satans were using hypnosis to block their actions. During the match Sar talked to As Taroth that he was very hot blooded. After Satan Gaul lost the ball, he was irritated and told to Satan that it was worthless. With his teammates he used their hissatsu tactic, Invisible, to steal the ball from Haizaki. They succeeded and Satan scored the second goal for Australia.
When Inazuma Japan realized that they were using hypnosis, they started to close their eyes moving past opponents. Thanks to that Asuto was able to pass Sar Gatans and took the ball. When one tactic failed, Sar started to use mirrors hidden in his cleats to blind opponents. In the second half of the match, Haizaki stole the ball from him and started to shoot at Ichihoshi Mitsuru with Kira Hiroto. After the fourth Australian goal, Hiroto shot at Ichihoshi but Sar protected him and took the ball. Later Haizaki and Hiroto started to shoot Australian players and played rough as well. Shining Satans weren't able to beat Inazuma Japan and in the end, they lost with a score 4-5.

Trivia[]
- His name, Sar Gatanas, is derived from サルガタナス (read as "Sarugatanasu"), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of Sargatanas, a demon who was a servant of Satan, Beelzebub, and Astaroth to the 18th century grimmoire, Grimorium Verum, a reference to Shining Satans' naming motif.
- His dub name, Serge, is also derived from Sargatanas, which is also a reference to Shining Satan's naming motif.
