Saryuu Evan (サリュー・エヴァン, Saryū Evan), also known as SARU (ＳＡＲＵ), is the main antagonist of Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone. He is Feida's leader, and a forward and the captain for The Lagoon.

SARU has fair skin and is average in height. He has white spiky hair with sideburns and has dark violet eyes, which are similar to Matsukaze Tenma's. He also wears black framed goggles, a sleeveless orange shirt over a full sleeved black shirt with black pants underneath and white boots, along with a small light-blue scarf and white gloves. Also, it was mentioned by Sorano Aoi that he looks like Tenma.
Personality
He is shown to be carefree and friendly when talking to people. However, despite his looks, he is actually very serious and manipulative at the same time, like when he told Tenma that he erased Fei's memories as Second Stage Children so that Fei can join Raimon to stop El Dorado from erasing soccer's history according to his plan. He hates quarrel as it shown when Meia and Garo got into a fight. He has a strong hatred for people who had treated Second Stage Children like monsters especially the adults from El Dorado which made him harbour an ambition on taking over the world. However, after the final match in Ragnarok between Chrono Storm had made him realize the most important thing. After that, he changed into a nicer person.
Plot
Bakumatsu era
He first appeared at the end of episode 29, talking to Zanark. He said he could not understand his own power, and then finished by saying Zanark has potential to join the Second Stage Children.
Jurassic era
Later, in episode 34, he reappeared along with the others Second Stage Children and the mysterious white-bearded man in El Dorado's base. One of El Dorado's leaders presented him as SARU, Second Stage Children's leader and emperor.
King Arthur's era
In episode 35, as Rei Rukh adviced his teammates to enter in the Hyper Dive mode, SARU said that this isn't necessary as he was there only to give an advice. He then continued, saying that he already knew that El Dorado was trying to "fix" the timeline to remove Second Stage Children from existence, but that this is useless. As Toudou Heikichi asked him why, SARU said that they don't have any chance against Matsukaze Tenma and his friends. Rei responded that was a failure on his calculations, since their victory was obvious and that the history reconstruction was a question of time. SARU adverted them that Raimon's members are really obstinate; Toudou asked him if what he wanted was to destroy them at that exact moment, but SARU denied, saying that Second Stage Children's desire was to live together with El Dorado and that he had an irresistible suggestion for them.
In episode 38, he appeared in front of Tenma and Sorano Aoi; he revealed his face, in which Aoi said he looked like Tenma, and then introduced himself to them. He was about to tell them something until El Dorado teleported Raimon into a Route Craft.
Ragnarok Tournament
In episode 39, he was watching El Dorado Team 01's training in his hologram form, and then he left. He appeared again in Second Stage Children's base and instantly stopped Garo and Meia who were fighting and after that, he talked about their mission. At the end of the episode, he appeared along with other Second Stage Children before El Dorado's headquarters
In episode 40, they destroyed El Dorado's headquarters and used their powers to create Ragnarok Stadium with the ruins. Before they left, he looked at Fei which made him had a headache , and collapsed. The next day, before the first match of Ragnarok, Zan vs El Dorado Team 01 started, he had a small conversation with Garsha and Vanfeny.
In episode 41, he is shown to watch the match from his emperor chair, and he also restores Fei's memory. After the match ends, he reveals to Tenma that Fei is a part of Feida.
In episode 42, after Helper X reaction when Fei arrived, SARU asked him if he was interested in him. He then asked Helper X who is he really and said what he knows about him: the one who opted to help them and the only adult in Feida, Helper X, which the later confirms. SARU continued by saying that he may be a former member of El Dorado, as he gave them a lot of precious information that he wasn't sure that a normal human would know. SARU finished by saying that Asurei can keep his identity a secret, but if he betrays him, he knows how it will end.
In episode 43, he began to laugh as he saw Mecha Endou, saying that it was very funny. He then admitted that El Dorado's elders know how to create funny things. After Giru lost, he talked to Garsha and Vanfeny again.
At the end of episode 45, he wasn't happy about the score of the match as his eyes glowed purple and used telepathy to Fei.
In episode 46, he ordered Fei to use the last method which was used Second Stage Children's power on El Dorado Team 03 to have a headache so they cannot play. When Helper X stopped Fei, he was angry at him at his actions. SARU kept on saying to Fei on continuing giving headaches to the opponent team but Helper X is also trying to convince Fei to continue, with a heated glare of his Second Stage Children power in his eyes. After the match ended in a tie, he asked Toudou Heikichi to organize a fourth and last match between both strongest team, Feida and El Dorado which is his own team; The Lagoon.
In episode 47, he talked to Fei who had just left the team, and in the park; Asurei Rune talked to him and asked him to stop but SARU didn't listen to his advice, saying that he would make Fei regret leaving Feida. After Asurei left, Meia and Giris later came in and said they want to show how strong they really are by joining The Lagoon.
In episode 48, after the players from Zan, Giru and Garu sent Ragnarok Stadium inside the wormhole, he said that he knew that the El Dorado's elders would shoot tranquilizer darts and inject the cure for SSC Gene forcibly, shocking Chrono Storm's members. When the match started, he didn't move. Later, he stole the ball from Tenma at great speed and made a goal with Shellbit Burst.
In episode 49, SARU used his Mixi Max for the first time and unleashed his Keshin, Chou Majin Evarth. He used Keshin Armed and shot with Shellbit Burst. He used it one more time but Nishizono Shinsuke was able to stop it using Shin Taikoku Ouka with Tenma, Shindou Takuto, and Tsurugi Kyousuke's help. After Tenma scored with the new hisasstu tactic, Grand Luster and his new hisasstu, God Wind while using Keshin Armed then Fei who made the third goal using Ouja no Kiba 改, reducing the score to 4-3. SARU was angry and couldn't understand how can humans be able to score against them. Tenma and Fei tried to tell SARU the importance of friends but SARU still claimed that Second Stage Children are special.
In episode 50, he was depressed when Chrono Storm leads 5-4 but then he got support from the whole The Lagoon and realized the most important thing. With the last few minutes, he battled against Chrono Storm with his 'friends'. After they lost, he had a small conversation with Tenma and agreed on giving up their Second Stage Children powers, and he becomes Tenma's friend.
In episode 51, he appeared in Tenma's flashback. He is first seen after the defeat of The Lagoon laying in defeat. In the second time, he is seen he is talking to Fei about removing his Second Stage Children powers and talking to him in a match with El Dorado Team 03.

In order to recruit SARU, The Lagoon has to be defeated first in the story mode and 3 players have to be scouted from the same community master to make him a scoutable option. Also, the following requirements are needed:

In the Supernova version of the game, SARU can be recruited by selecting him as one of the players that will join Earth Eleven during the Grand Celesta Galaxy. Otherwise, in order to recruit SARU, Ixal Fleet has to be defeated first in the story mode. Also the following requirements are needed:
Mixi Maxed SARU can be randomly dropped from a Gacha Machine in Sandorius that is available after Ixal Fleet has been defeated in the story mode. Also, the following requirements are needed:

Goggles form
Goggles SARU can be randomly dropped from a Gacha Machine in Sandorius that is available after Ixal Fleet has been defeated in the story mode. Also, the following requirements are needed:
His nickname, SARU, is derived from 猿 (also read as "Saru"), which, in turn, means monkey, a reference to The Lagoon's naming motif and an allusion on his Mixi Maxed appearance with S Idenshi.
His dub name, Simeon Ayp, is derived from simianape, both synonyms for monkey, which is also a reference to The Lagoon's naming motif and an allusion on his Mixi Maxed appearance with S Idenshi.
Both possess the SSC genes, with Gouenji stating Tenma is one of its original possessers.
In an interview with Nintendo Dream magazine, Hino Akihiro stated SARU was initially set to be Tenma's descendant, but the actual relation was changed to just "possibly" and implied in the final version of the story.
He is implied to be the strongest SSC.
This is due to him being the emperor of Feida and the captain of their ultimate team, The Lagoon.
