He has brown hair, turquoise eyes and slightly tanned skin. He wears a ring around his neck which resembles Saturn's rings.
Plot[]
He first appeared in episode 36, where he was seen in the Cyclone Stadium, playing as the goalkeeper of Arakumo Gakuen against an unknown team. An unknown player shot but Sata blocked it easily with only one hand and threw the ball back into the field.
The Kanji character for "To", in his forename, Tosamaru, is derived from 土星 (read as "Dosei"), which, in turn, means Saturn, a reference to Arakumo Gakuen's naming motif. Incidentally, his name, Sata Tosamaru, is derived from サートゥルヌス (read as "Saaturunusu), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of Sāturnus, the Ancient Roman God of the Capitol, time, wealth, agriculture, and liberation, whom the Saturn planet is named after, which is also a reference to Arakumo Gakuen's naming motif.
His dub name, Ringo Saturn, is derived from rings of Saturn, which is also a reference to Arakumo Gakuen's naming motif and an allusion on his appearance.
