In order to recruit Sekiyan, the following password has to be entered first when talking to Hibiki: めいじん (Meijin, lit. Master, dub: grandmaster). He will be near the river in Hokkaidou and will offer to join the player's party once talked to.

Inazuma Eleven GO

In order to recruit Sekiyan, the following requirements are needed:

• Topic: Favorite Game (好きなゲーム, obtained in front of Raimon's Soccer Building)
• Player: Chairman
• Item: Game Software (ゲームソフト, randomly dropped from Cosplay Fighter (コスプレファイター) [S] or Cosplay Buster (コスプレバスター) [D] at the Ice Path to the Snowland Stadium)
• Item: Eden Misanga (らくえんミサンガ, can be obtained from a treasure chest in God Eden)

After this, he can be scouted for an amount of 3240 Yuujou points.

Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone

In order to recruit Sekiyan, the following requirements are needed:

• Item: Cool Membership Card (かっこいい会員証, randomly dropped from Good Ends (グッドエンズ) [N] or Good Mens (グッドメンズ) [R] in Inazuma Town's Station entrance)
• Record: Keshin is a Friend (化身は友達, activate Keshin 10 times)
• Player: Yamine

After this, he can be scouted for an amount of 650 Yuujou points.
