The user dribbles towards their opponent, raising their right hand and clenching it, gathering bright blue and purple energy. They then release it, quickly turning the surrounding area into a spacelike dimension. As they continue dribbling, they step forward with their right foot as if they were stepping on a puddle, and rapidly spring ahead, making a purple orb appear. The purple orb quickly explodes and turns into a fiery cross, burning their opponent and successfully getting past them.

Once they're ahead of their confused opponent, they uncross their arms and leave them in the middle of a blue fire cross, burning them and successfully getting past them.
Its name, Southern Crosscut, is derived from サザンクロス (read as "Sazan Kurosu"), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of Southern Cross, the colloquial name for the Crux constellation, a reference to its usage.
