Matsukaze Tenma (Shinsei Raimon & Short-term Study Abroad form)
Info[]
In the anime, because of Tenma's determination to bring back Shindou to the team again, he was able to create a new hissatsu move dubbed Soyokaze Step and was able to pass through Shindou. Nishizono, Shindou, Endou, and Tenma himself were all surprised with this new hissatsu.
After creating it, he used it in the matches against other teams during the Holy Road tournament.
After Raimon won the Holy Road, the team watched a special program that was commemorated to them on TV, showcasing their hissatsu, keshin and tactics they used and the opponents and their moves they faced during the tournament.
In episode 49 of Chrono Stone, it reappeared and was used by Matsukaze Tenma to pass through Saryuu Evan in its S stage and succeeded in doing it.
The user dashes forward with the ball, leaving a lime colored trail behind them. Once the user is close to the opponent, they do a side step and make a 180° turn around the opponent, sliding with the ball and creating a gust of wind that lifts the opponent in the air, spinning them around.
When it was used in the Cyclone Stadium, Tenma went through a cyclone. That made the move go 360 degrees around it, instead of 180 degrees around a regular person.
Soyokaze Step holds the record for the most evolutionary stages skipped, skipping V2, V3 and V4 altogether and evolving straight into S.
In the anime, Soyokaze Step never failed.
However, it was shown to fail in a promotional anime segment against Fuuretsu Hayami.
In the Cantonese dub, it actually retains the soyokaze part in Soyokaze Step, using "微風", the kanji writing of soyokaze.
