Anime[]
Spiral Draw is a hissatsu technique created by Tenma out of his own volition[1], involving the wind deployed in Soyokaze Step, making it both stronger and faster. Initially, Tenma wanted it to solely involve the speed deployed in Mach Wind, but through training he realized it wasn't enough.
Upon vowing to keep on winning the Holy Road tournament[1], Tenma was determined to create a defensive technique in order to further aid the team when facing stronger opponents, training for it at the Riverbank. Seeing Tenma's efforts, Endou suggested training with him so he could create the defensive technique, but Tenma wasn't able to create it.
Amidst Tenma's training for Spiral Draw[1], Tenma tried creating it against Kurumada and Amagi, but Tenma wasn't able to create it. Realizing his initial resolve needed altering, Tenma simultaneously drew out the aura of his Keshin, Pegasus, and covered himself in a veil of wind against Kurumada, but he wasn't able to create it. Noticing this, Tsurugi asked Endou to partner with Tenma in order to awaken the dormant power within him, but Tenma still wasn't able to create it.
Amidst Raimon's training for Kaiou Gakuen[2], Tenma used it four times in its incomplete form to try to steal the ball, but Tsurugi managed to break through all attempts. Following its first use, Tsurugi noted Tenma wasn't focusing enough energy.
In the match between Raimon and Kaiou Gakuen[3], Tenma completed it and used it, successfully stealing the ball from Yoshimine.
In the match between Raimon and Gassan Kunimitsu[4], Tenma used it, successfully stealing the ball from one of the cyclones whipped up by the Cyclone Stadium.
Game[]
Amidst Tenma's training at the Riverbank to draw out his Keshin[5], Endou suggested Tenma to focus on creating a new hissatsu technique instead, to which Tenma agreed upon to a defensive technique involving the speed deployed in Mach Wind. Through training, Tenma realized he needed to be even faster and raise a stronger wind.
In the soccer battle between Raimon and Kaiou Gakuen[5], Tenma vowed to keep playing with Tsurugi, simultaneously drawing out the aura of his Keshin, Pegasus, and covering himself in a veil of wind, creating it and using it, successfully stealing the ball from Touga.
Usage[]
The user runs while leaning their upper body forward towards their still opponent, suddenly hopping off of the field and quickly surrounding themselves in a whirlwind once they land on the ground. As their opponent tries to find their whereabouts, they dash ahead and spiral around them, surrounding themselves in a growing whirlwind and drawing the ball to them. They then emerge out of the growing whirlwind as it blows away their opponent, rapidly dispersing itself as they run ahead with the ball, successfully stealing it from them.
