He first appeared in episode 5 with his team during the match against Raimon. His team was ordered by Fifth Sector to win the match with a score of 3-0. Tanizaki wasn't seen playing because he was sitting on the bench. At the end of the match, Eito won with 3-1, after Shindou Takuto scored one goal for Raimon, which was against Fifth Sector's order.
