Plot[]
He first appeared in episode 35, where his stated that they will not fight Epsilon. Later, when Epsilon appears, his team said they won't fight. Because they won't fight, Zel had destroy a part of his school. He and his team where angry about that and fight against them. He used Tatsumaki Senpuu to dodge Epsilon but it fails and the ball has token away from him. At the end of the match, he was injured and couldn't play any further and so was his team too. Desarm stated it ended in 6 minutes which was true and his team lost with 15-0.
His name, Tenjin Atarou, is derived from 天神様と阿吽の呼吸 (read as "Tenjin-sama to aun no kokyuu"), roughly translating to Lord Tenjin and Aum breathing, meaning being devoted to academics and having minds that are in sync.
