Tension (テンション, Tenshon) is a game mechanic introduced in Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road, replacing the Technical Point (TP) system from previous releases.
Info[]
Unlike TP, Tension is shared by the entire team, and can be accumulated through Focus and Scramble. Without any modifiers, the team receives 60 points of Tension for winning and 30 points for losing, being able to accumulate up to 300 Tension. Additionally, the defending team can receive Tension when the opposing team commits an Offside. There is no way to increase Tension through the use of items.
In order to use hissatsu techniques, Tension is required, with each technique costing a different amount of Tension relative to their power. Tension is also required for certain mechanics to occur, such as Knockout and Shout.
Prior to the finals of Inazuma Eleven Eiyuutachi no Victory Road's Tournament β, Tension was changed slightly so that both teams would start with a small amount of it, so techniques could be performed sooner.
