Appearance[]
Tetsu has gray hair, and one stripe being white. He wears a plain white shirt with a towel over it.
Personality[]
He is an encouraging elder man to Shin. He's also close to the family, talking that he knew that Tetsukado's father was happy about his son motivated to work harder to buy them a boat.
Plot[]
He first appeared in a flashback in episode 5. Tetsu was the boxing coach of Shin, encouraging him to start punching instead of being on the defense always during a boxing match. During the second flashback on the same episode, he was shown to be encouraging Tetsukado to not run away from punches. His belief and important quote resembled that to what Tenma said to Tetsukado. Tetsu became the reason why Tetsukado stayed at Inazuma Japan during the withdrawal test.
He made his appearance again in episode 19 with Tetsukado. Tetsukado told him about Grand Celesta Galaxy and he actually believed what Tetsukado said, to his surprise. After that, he told Tetsukado not to run away and remember winning to protect the Earth.
