Anime[]
The Typhoon is a hissatsu technique created by Tsunami[1], which he trained in secret despite Kudou forbidding Inazuma Japan from leaving their dormitory rooms[2]. Upon being found out, Kudou encouraged Tsunami to use it, even if it was still incomplete. Eventually, Tsunami realized it was crucial for The Typhoon to have a bit more rotation to be performed.
In the match between Inazuma Japan and Big Waves[1], Tsunami, using an incomplete The Typhoon, combined it with Tsunami Boost to try to score, but it was stopped by Jinbei's Great Barrier Reef. Upon realizing what was missing in The Typhoon, Tsunami perfected it and used it, breaking through Jinbei's Great Barrier Reef and successfully scoring Inazuma Japan's first goal. Shortly afterwards, Megane gave the technique its name.
Amidst Tachimukai's training for a new technique[3], Tsunami used it thrice, with all attempts getting past Tachimukai. Later, Tsunami used it again[4], quickly getting past Tachimukai.
In the match between B Team and A Team[5], Tsunami used The Typhoon V3 to try to score, but it was stopped by Kurimatsu's Spinning Cut.
Game[]
In the match between Inazuma Japan and Big Waves[6], Tsunami completed it and used it, breaking through Jinbei or Seahorse's defense and successfully scoring Inazuma Japan's first goal.
Acquirement[]
- Can be bought in Okinawa's Hihoudou on Hill Road Market (
坂道 市場 ) for 840 Nekketsu points.
Usage[]
As the surrounding area turns into a vast sea, the user rides on the ball as if they were on a surfboard. They then spring and spin into the air, surrounding themselves in a watery typhoon. Once they hop off the surfboard, they abruptly dive onto the ball with both of their feet, covering it in a veil of water with bright blue energy as it heads towards the goal.

Trivia[]
- In the Inazuma Eleven anime series, it is one of the hissatsu techniques to have skipped over an evolutionary stage.
- It shares this trait with God Hand, Nekketsu Punch, Killer Slide, God Knows, Illusion Ball, Senpuujin, Dark Tornado, Perfect Tower, Bakunetsu Screw, Snow Angel, The Mountain, Dragon Slayer, Gladius Arch, Maou The Hand, God Catch, Soyokaze Step, Mach Wind, Power Spike, Death Drop, and Reverse World.
- In the English localization of the Inazuma Eleven anime, when it's used in its V3 stage[5], it's said as The Typhoon Version 3 despite its typography showing otherwise.
