Anime[]

Kidou Yuuto suggested Fubuki and Hijikata to work on creating a shoot hissatsu technique together, combining the former's speed and the latter's balance, physique, and power. However, whilst training for it, they had timing issues, causing Fubuki to get hit by the ball.[1]

It was later perfected on the match between Inazuma Japan and Fire Dragon, breaking through Jung-soo's Dai Bakuhatsu Harite.[2]

It later evolved to 改 and scored a goal on the match between Inazuma Japan and The Kingdom, being too fast for Falcão's Capoeira Snatch.[3]

Game[]

It was created by Neo Japan, who entrusted the manual to Inazuma Japan after being beaten by them. Kidou delegated the manual to Fubuki and Raiden to combine both of their prowesses.[4]

Usage[]

The first person kicks the ball powered up by yellow lightning while the second player runs forward. The ball flies towards the second player and he kicks the ball, causing the ball to have a blue-colored lightning. A wolf appears and runs with the ball towards the goal.

Trivia[]

  • Its name, Thunder Beast, is a reference to Raijuu, a legendary creature in Japanese mythology often translated as thunder beast.
    • Interestingly, Raijuu is generally associated with Raijin, the Japanese God of lightning, thunder, and storms, which one of its prominent users, Raiden, is based on.
  • Its usage differs across media.
    • In the anime, the second user spins around and kicks the ball with a volley, covering the ball in blue lightning.
    • In the game, the second user kicks the ball with their sole, covering the ball by lightning and snowflakes.
