Anime[]

Kidou suggested Inazuma Japan to learn more hissatsu techniques for the FFI tournament[1], telling Fubuki and Hijikata to work on creating a shoot hissatsu technique together, combining the former's speed and the latter's stable body balance. However, while training for it, they had timing issues, causing Fubuki to get hit by the ball. Eventually, Fubuki managed not to get hit but shot the ball to the side instead, which was stopped by Tobitaka's kick.

In the match between Inazuma Japan and Fire Dragon[2], Fubuki and Hijikata used it, breaking through Jung-soo's Dai Bakuhatsu Harite and successfully scoring Inazuma Japan's first goal.

In the match between Inazuma Japan and The Kingdom[3], Fubuki and Hijikata used Thunder Beast 改, quickly getting past Falcão's Capoeira Snatch and successfully scoring Inazuma Japan's first goal.

Game[]

It was created by Neo Japan, who entrusted the manual to Inazuma Japan after being beaten by them[4]. Kidou delegated the manual to Fubuki and Raiden to combine both of their prowesses. However, while training for it, they had timing issues.

Usage[]

One of the users reels their right leg back as the ball charges itself with bright yellow, lightninglike energy, quickly passing it to the other in the front. As the other keeps running closely behind the ball, they rapidly hop off the field and get into position, kicking the ball with their right leg as a howling beast appears behind them. The ball is then covered in blue, lightninglike energy and snowflakes as it heads towards the goal.

Trivia[]

  • Its name, Thunder Beast, is a reference to Raijuu, a legendary creature in Japanese mythology often translated as thunder beast.
    • Interestingly, Raijuu is generally associated with Raijin, the Japanese God of lightning, thunder, and storms, which one of its prominent users, Raiden, is based on.
  • Its usage differs across media.
    • In the anime, the second user spins around and kicks the ball with a volley, covering the ball in blue lightning.
    • In the game, the second user kicks the ball with their sole, covering the ball in lightning and snowflakes.
  • In the Inazuma Eleven anime series, it's the only hissatsu technique to have never received typography for its base evolution.
