Trivia[]
- His surname, Yoshimine, is derived from 喜望峰 (read as "Kibou hou"), which, in turn, means Cape of Good Hope, a cape discovered by the Portuguese explorer, Bartolomeu Dias, and his team after numerous days of violent storms, a reference to Kaiou Gakuen's naming motif and to his profile.
Incidentally, his forename, Misaki, means cape, a further reference to Cape of Good Hope.- His dub forename, Calico, is derived from Captain Calico Jack and, his surname, Corsair, is another name for pirate, referencing Captain Calico Jack's status, which are also references to Kaiou Gakuen's naming motif.
